Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the NefoWave mobile application (“NefoWave”, “the App”). By downloading or using NefoWave, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. NefoWave does not require account sign-in.
1. The service
NefoWave is a personal kitchen notebook for Apple devices. It lets you:
- keep Botanica cards for herbs and spices you care about;
- build Mix Lab recipes for homemade blends, scale amounts, and log when you made them;
- track Cupboard stock, locations, and best-by dates, including low-stock and restock cues;
- use Desk for short guides, scaling help, starter samples, data erase, lock / reset notebook, About, and legal pages.
NefoWave is provided for personal, non-commercial journaling and kitchen organisation. It is not a professional culinary certification, medical advice, allergen guarantee, grocery delivery service, or online marketplace.
2. Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use NefoWave on devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store rules that apply to your purchase or download.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
3. Your content and responsibilities
- You own the notebook content you create (text, ratings, photos you add, and similar entries).
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you save — including storage times, quantities, and best-by dates.
- Do not use NefoWave to store unlawful content or to infringe others’ rights.
- Photos and camera features require optional system permission; denying them does not block the rest of the notebook.
- Sharing text recipes or notes via the system share sheet is your action; check that you have the right to share what you send.
4. Local storage — important
NefoWave stores your library on your device. It does not provide automatic cloud backup of your notebook. Notebook content stays on this device unless you erase it. There is no cloud notebook account. If you lose the device, erase the App’s data, or uninstall without your own backup, that content may be permanently lost. Desk’s erase-all option permanently deletes local NefoWave data on that device when you confirm it. Desk → Notebook → Lock Notebook returns you to the start screen and keeps notebook data on device. Desk → Notebook → Reset Notebook erases notebook data on this device and returns you to the start screen. Lock and Reset manage local notebook data only.
5. Starter samples
Optional starter samples may be included or restored to help you explore the App. They are for illustration only. Your own entries remain yours; restoring samples is intended to add missing sample items rather than overwrite your personal records.
6. No warranties
NefoWave is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, and non-infringement. Guides inside Desk are informal kitchen tips, not professional advice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of NefoWave. In particular, we are not responsible for food safety outcomes, spoilage, allergic reactions, or cooking results based on notes you keep or scales you apply in Mix Lab or Desk.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the three months before the claim (or, if the App was free, to the minimum amount required by law).
8. Third-party services
The App may use Apple system components (camera, photos, share sheet, App Store). Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party sites or system services outside our reasonable control.
9. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the NefoWave Privacy Policy available in Desk and at the Privacy Policy URL listed with the App. By using the App, you also acknowledge that policy. For privacy questions, email morenoedson10@yahoo.com.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or the App features from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when Terms are revised. If you continue using NefoWave after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. We may stop offering the App or particular features where reasonably necessary (for example for legal or platform reasons).
You may stop using NefoWave at any time by deleting it from your device.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the publisher’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise. Those mandatory rights remain available to you.

These Terms describe NefoWave’s Botanica, Mix Lab, Cupboard, and Desk features as an offline personal kitchen notebook with no account sign-in. They do not describe a competing third-party spice encyclopaedia or any cloud social network.
